Net Worth Calculator

List everything you own and everything you owe, and see what it is worth after inflation. Free, with no account.

Stays in this browser. euroflation never receives it.

€10,000 kept as cash since September 2016 in the euro area buys what €7,491 bought then.

Prices up to September 2026, Eurostat HICP. Your own list works the same way for each thing, from the month you got it.

How it works

  1. Add what you own and what you owe: money in a bank, cash, gold or silver, shares or a fund, crypto, property, a pension, loans.
  2. For each thing, type what it is worth now. If you know what you paid and the month you got it, the page shows what the money buys compared with then.
  3. Come back to update the values, and save a copy to a file now and then.

What you can add

  • Money in a bank
  • Cash
  • Gold or silver
  • Shares or a fund
  • Crypto
  • Property
  • A pension
  • Something I owe

How the inflation figure works

For each thing with a price paid and a month, the page takes your country's price index for that month and for the latest month, and multiplies the current value by the ratio of the two. The index is the HICP, the harmonised index of consumer prices that Eurostat publishes for every EU country: not the national CPI. The result describes past prices. It is not a forecast and not advice.

Your list stays with you

The list is saved in this browser only, in its local storage. There is no account and no copy on a server. euroflation never receives your list, and it looks up no prices for you: every value is one you type. So clearing the browser's data deletes the list, and it does not appear on another device. Save a copy to a file to keep it safe or to move it.

What this does and does not do

It adds up the values you type and compares them with published consumer prices up to the latest month. It says nothing about what happens next, gives no advice and recommends no bank or product.

Source: Eurostat, HICP all-items monthly index (prc_hicp_minr, 2025 = 100). The calculation is euroflation's.

Frequently asked questions

Does euroflation see what I enter?
No. The list is kept in your browser's local storage and in files you save yourself. It is never sent to euroflation or to anyone else. As with any web page, the server only learns that the page was opened.
Where is my list stored, and how do I keep it safe?
In this browser, on this device. If you clear the site data, use a private window or change device, the list is not there. Use "Save a copy (file)" on the list screen to keep a copy and "Open a saved copy" to bring it back.
How is the inflation figure calculated?
For each thing with a price paid and a month, the page takes your country's price index for that month and for the latest month, and multiplies the current value by the ratio of the two. The index is the HICP, the harmonised index of consumer prices that Eurostat publishes for every EU country: not the national CPI. The result describes past prices. It is not a forecast and not advice.
Which price index does it use, and is it the national CPI?
It uses the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), which Eurostat compiles with the same method in every EU country so that they can be compared. It is not the national consumer price index (CPI) of a country, and the two can differ.
Why is a thing left out of the inflation line?
A thing is in the line only when you gave both what you paid and the month you got it, and the price index covers that month. What you owe is part of the total but never part of the line, and nothing is estimated for months that are not yet published.
Does this tell me what to do with my money?
No. It adds up what you typed and compares it with published price indices. It gives no advice, makes no forecast and recommends no bank or product.
