Eurozone food price level

The euro area's food price level is 102.1 as of 2025, from official Eurostat data. It fell from 102.7 the previous year. Over the period shown it has ranged from 102.1 to 104.0.

This is a price level, not an inflation rate: it compares what the same basket of food and non-alcoholic beverages costs in each country in one year, with the EU average set at 100. A higher number means groceries cost more than the EU average.
